I thought the punch line would be that he put a booger up his nose.
Our oldest was flat on his belly on our bed, with his chin in his hands watching the whole thing. His eyes were as big as saucers, but he was calmly taking it all in.

Oh my God! My son swallowed two pennies one time and I went all the way into the ER to get an ex-ray. I was told he had to poo them out. None of that was any fun, so I can imagine how you felt.
Your story flowed well and I didn't see anything I'd change...Good Luck in the contest!

What a relief when he sneezed and out it came. Great job. I would have liked to have known what was done to prevent a second such incident and what steps were taken to prevent.

Adorable story! I have two sons and can related to the mischief that can happen in an instant. I could get a clear image of your landlady peeking in your windows. I thought there was one part of the story the repeated itself just a tiny bit. Your descriptions were really good!

Loved it! I was married to an officer and my two sons are in the military. It's quite a life!

What a delightful story. Raising children is so hard. I can't imagine doing it while moving around in foreign countries. I have been to Italy. I can just see your house with your neighbor sticking her head in. Fun times, huh?
