Hello DD,
As I read your haiku, I couldn't help but think how nature speaks to us.
"silent thoughts broken" this line speaks volumes about how we need to heed the message of the natural world around us.

Yes, the message of the natural world, although all around us, seems to be ignored by many that are too busy and out of touch to appreciate it. Going on walks always helps one to feel in touch again. This is a great Haiku. Autumn is my favorite. It's hard to be in a listless mood when the leaves are literally shouting the exciting news of the season with every crunching footstep.

My concentration also can easily be broken by what usually are unnoticed sounds.

This is very nicely composed. The image is tranquil and quiet as your poem expresses. I like the last line which is perfect to unite the descriptive autumn crunching leaves with silent thoughts. Marilyn

I definitely like the energy of this piece and the places it takes me. It slows my mind down and it takes me to a beautiful trail on a crisp autumn day when my life was simpler and more carefree. I enjoy poetry that help shift me to this place.

A very well-written poem about the autumn leaves crunching underneath your feet that breaks your silent thoughts on a daily walk through the forest before sunset.
