Excellent

Although this is free verse, it has a wonderfully rhythmic feel to it and that, together with the repetition, gives a sense of mesmeric monotony of raindrops on a window pane. A finely crafted poem.

I am glad you liked the form and the musical elements, I took some time to craft those, rewriting this a few times to get it right. Tried to capture the rhythm and melody of the raindrops and the transformational character of it the uplifting of the spirit through it estory

Hi E. I think you did indeed capture the pitter patter of the rain. We have rain nearly everyday here. It's soothing and one can easily associate the thoughts of forgiveness, new starts and casting off sin with the easy fall and cadence of the sweet rain water. I thoroughly enjoyed this one E. Great title, Rain.
Estory,
I like your free verse poem. Many things happen to us, to things, or simply happens when it rains. Your poem touched on so many things through the words, releasing the silence before it rained. Rain is like a song which is usually interpreted differently by everyone it touches. The animals see and feels the wetness that flows down from the sky. The buildings stay still as it rolls off its rooftop. Your words tell many stories how the rain touches so many facets of life, whether it' a deluge, a drizzle or a simple shower. I like this poem. Rain touches so many things!!! Great energy and meaning in your words. Thanks for sharing. Good luck!!

I love this. I would give it a six star if I had one. I particularly like what you created with raining cats and dogs. Such a trite expression you dared to you. Then you turned it into something delightful. I don't usually think about dogs and cats running around as a symbol of spring. But it very much is! That is cool. Excellent job.

I personally liked the raining watercolors the best. But readers sometimes surprise you, and if the poem is really good, it takes flight and becomes many things to many different people. I think we've all written something to a degree on the subject of rain I like to look at rain with my subjective degree as tears from Angels sorrow falling down from heaven and holding the ground bringing back New Life this is Well written by East Rory richenstein imagery that flowed well read well no grammar issues as well just get to measure for excellent firmly in place along with objective and adjectives conscience thanks for just have a blessed day dr. I'm afraid we have had far too much rain here in a few days to last the whole of the winter! Tenerife never has bad weather, but we have been hammered with high winds and rain! Technical stuff first. I didn't notice any spelling or grammar errors.
I did get caught up in the words and almost forgot to check for possible improvements. I thought this was an amazing heartfelt piece. Rain is a great metaphor for new beginnings and erasing the past.
