What makes your stand so funny is that it is so real and relatable. I love dipping into the dark side and making people laugh about it. Most of the best stand up writers and performers take the tragedy and make it really hilarious--as you have done!

Light hearted dad style jokes. I have yet to see anything like this pop up and it definitely entertained me for a few minutes. Corny can be the way to go when breaking ice with people!

Well that was an interesting, fun read. I enjoyed it very much. This has little to do with this entry, but I noticed that there is a new contest at Fan Story about looking in the mirror and what do you see. You ought to be able to do something with your drunks looking in the mirror. That is funny. Just a suggestion. I enjoyed your post.

The one about the two drunk old bastards has a lot of truth: we often think of ourselves as we were some years before; and we can't see what we've become, though we can appreciate it in others. I like the one about the person who finally seems ready for commitment ... then gets out of it by choosing Feb 30th!
Regarding "Monday, Tuesday then WTF", I used to like those schoolbook tables of monthly rainfall, because along the bottom of the graph was jfmamjJASONd.
