Well I don't think he would get a second date. What a great acrostic you've come up with for this word, you must have had fun coming up with this lot. Well done,
cheers,
valda

Works for me, that's not someone too terribly attractive. Shudder. An excellent acrostic Craig.

Thanks for sharing this lovely word. ;-)

Thanks so much, Gloria. Can't stay and chat, I've got to fish that thing (whatever it is) out of the sink. Cheers, Craig ;-)

This is just really funny, and is a kind of farce. I wonder if there might be
a poisonous creature hidden somewhere between the lines? There is no accounting for taste.

Super entertaining and fun,

This acrostic spells out via examples and humor, that which might kill any desire for a moment. Each one brings a smile, and I appreciate the flow for the acrostic form being smooth and congruent.

I will say that I get myself all twisted around on lay, lie, laid, ... but one thing I'm almost certain about... not laying. (not really certain, though, only enough to bring it forward to say it might you might want to check again?

laying is the one form that I think matches in terms of chickens laying eggs. So... insects laying droppings... ?? but I'm not sure insect droppings laying.... because I'd ask, what are the droppings laying?

That's my small thought that I had in terms of offering any suggestions, the rest of my thoughts on the poem were only my amusement and the in-good-humor cringes to all things anaphrodesiac.

Nicely done, Craig.

Thanks so much for the great review, Turtle, and in particular for the excellent catch - laying/lying. I've fixed that now. Much appreciated, as always :) Craig

Hahaha ... I found this incredibly humorous, Craig! You've hit the nail on the head with this one. All of those creepy/cruddy things would certainly make any suitor or mate run for the hills if they espied them. I've never heard the term "anaphrodesiac" before, but I'll sure remember it after reading this!

Your acrostic poem is the perfect vehicle to introduce this word to your readers. Exceptional! ~~ Connie

A very well-written acrostic poem. All the things that will turn anyone off are present in this poem. Definitely the most an anaphrodesiac situation described ever. Lol.

Craig, This is a very well written acrostic poem you have penned. I have never heard of that word before now. I don't think I want to see any of the disgusting things you mentioned in it though. Great job with the words and explanation of what it means! Blessings, Teri

LOL! The missing link--good one, Craig. Didn't see that coming. You have a great imagination and a superb way with words. You ought to consider becoming a writer. Maybe there is a website where you can practice. :)

"A writer!? A writer you say?" The superior oblique muscle in his left eye began twitching uncontrollably, as his hand navigated the shattered glass, and removed the axe from the fire cabinet...

    Hmmmm, maybe not!

Thanks for the fun review, Phyllis :)
