These verses and their evolving refrain comprise a splendid account of Love's phases in our lives. The reader can sense volumes behind each stanza and relate in his or her own way. The depth of love is palpable throughout -- from nurturing mother, to a true friend's help when needed, to the comfort of a partner's embrace, to the simple joys that ease life's many stresses, to faith in Love Everlasting. If the wild flowers shown represent the "seedlings that sprout" to carry on life when one is gone, then the illustration is most apt. Superb.

So, when I travel the end of my road,
and seedlings sprout everywhere...
Fall to my knees - a thankful soul,
Love ~ promised to welcome me there.
What a lovely read. I enjoyed the gentle use of rhyming sprinkled throughout that anchored the poem. Great job on this! Of all I've read this week, I bet I'll remember this one.
