Excellent

His and hers bicycles in the distorted view commonly found in those who love. The frog is there suggesting that perhapsh has not yet found her handsome prince despite the kisses. Circumstances can often be interpreted in different ways and vision is distorted by love. Both artwork and poem compliment each other neatly in this tongue in cheek Valentine offering.

There is a scene in my book The West when the Traveler shares off his beard. His wife tells him to grow it back. He's too ugly to be seen without it. When she laughs he knows she's teasing.

So true. Nothing more painful than to have your heart broken by one you love... to be told he/she does not love you anymore. Vengeance is so wrong, tho. People cannot help how they feel. If feelings change, deal with it and move on.
