Strangely as I look around my home I can identify with the sentiments of that child. Different items but almost a similar philosophy of acquisition. I could not agree more about reading. (A lot of the stuff that surrounds me is books and bookcases, containing a few 'oft read old favourites)
Great poem - I hope you can get the children to read it.
