This 5-7-5, Flash, is set up correctly and makes me think of a nuclear explosion bringing the day top a close. The green cast seems foreign to what one would expect. The irony of a flooding sky over water is too funny to be an accident. Nice poem to get the thinker moving.

-My wife and I have seen the green flash in Monterey, California or a small town outside of their in Pacific Grove, And sitting on the tee box of the 11th hole Of the Pacific Grove golf links.
-It all lasted but a millisecond In the whole sky turned green with a sharp lime phosphorescent green epicenter. And then it was gone.
-In your particular home, you explain in your first two lines take visual action of the sunset on the horizon. I feel maybe you could have shortened it with the syllables. I have many suggestions but I think you can think of one and that Leaves you for more Syllables you could use for the imagery. Shortening the action part of the syllables for more creativity syllables. Just a suggestion.
-Good luck in the contest and take care and have a good one my friend.
