to my mind this is a real "faith" poem echoing the faith described in the quoted biblical text in your notes. The third stanza in particular tells of the rewards coming to the faithful withought any hint of unctious overstatement.

This has to have a six, for many reasons. First for content, and the use of the verse to strengthen it. Then for the spot on flow that makes the journey a joy to read. The rhyme of AABB is smooth and easy to read. I love it

Excellent poetry, Master of Terror, although one could hardly classify this as being terrifying in any way. Inspirational, perhaps, but far from terrifying, heh-heh.
Perfect iambic tetrameter all throughout. Sin-sational rhyming...
