Disclaimer: I am a lover of felines....cute ones, raggedy ones, off putting ones, snuggly ones....and Felix was a hero, after all....so glad to heat he had such a long (nine lives!) life. I had cat who lived to be sixteen as well....her name was Annabelle and I think she and Felix would have gotten along famously!

Dear Karenina , thank you for your review and the five stars. Felix was a solitary creature, but never unduly aggressive towards other cats. He would probably have touched noses with Annabelle, washed her face and then curled up alongside her. IF she had been properly introduced and made clear she was a friend. If on the other hand she had just dropped over the fence and landed in front of him, it would have been ON!! Never mind , they might have even met up in Pussy Heaven and be real pals for all we know. I'll have to wait and see when I get there won't I? cheers Cass

Great story of a beautiful family friends. Can't have cats anymore as somewhere along the line I developed an allergy, though I had them when I was a kid. But my dogs are like family and I love them so. My favorite ever also lived to be 16.

Dear Friend, thank you for your review and the five stars .My sister's two Schnauzer doggies are very dear to me although I am not a doggie person. Felix was a beautiful creature in his soul as well as to look at and was sadly missed when he was put to sleep .We'll meet again one day and what a happy day that will be. cheers Cass

It took a long while to get over him being put to sleep, but I'll see him again one day. there will be other stories about Felix and his little mate Tiki .
