The image is worth a thousand words, but I don't see the bird enjoying itself. I am sure it would like to be someplace where it's warm and dry. This is very well written.

What a great picture of the Cardinal splashing.
Excellent descriptive imagery in your 5-7-5 poem
with the correct syllables.
This is, indeed, summer fun.
We still have the Cardinal in the winter
but it's difficult to "splash on ice."

I can think of no other reason for beautiful creatures like this to exist than God wants to entertain us. That's a beautiful picture. I have a birdbath in my yard. I love to sit and watch them. So do my cats.
