Your dialogue gives the reader lots of good information on Anderson, which is a good time in the story for some additional backstory. He (Anderson) is full of surprises, and reveals himself to be a capable man in lots of ways. The chapter's ending makes me want to read more!

I was afraid with the photo you were going to write about food, but I should have known better. Thanks for the introduction, really needed by me. I must have missed a lot. This is an interesting chapter were Shana likes to hear more about Drew's background. He tells her. It gives her a nightmare, because of all the weapons.

I thought that this part of the chapter was very well done. I especially enjoyed how certain descriptions, and specific ways in which words were presented within the dialogue helped to flush out the characters-especially to those of us whom are jumping in the middle of the story.
I have no comments to add yet. I will wait until I have read more of the chapters, so as to sketch out the themes and other aspects of the book in their entirety before I comment on just one chapter, (Especially since I have not read the other chapters before this particular one).
However, from what I have read here it reads well, and the characters are starting to be flushed out a little bit. Great Work.
