Aw, shucks! This is so nice of you, Chrissy. Sandra alerted me to the fact there was a dedicated poem for me. What a lovely surprise! Thank you, from the heart. Really appreciate your sweet appreciation! I love that you use lower case for my name, because I do the same thing. That's so attentive of you!

There are quite a number of great reviewers here. I hope this poems serves to encourage others to review more in depth as well.

I heartily applaud your inventive slant rhyme of language and vanquish. Super original and musical...they don't look like a rhyme pair but they almost sound like one. Brilliant proximal rhymes are something I admire! Same thing goes for homage and acknowledge.

There are some spag issues, particularly with grammar and punctuation. Suggestions below:

Hi rama.
See I needed your assistance to make this better .
I am glad you saw this before it went off my listing but I did not let you know personally because I was not chasing a review from but just wanted to acknowledge you generous and wonderful poetic guidance.
I am always in awe of your knowing way with punctuation and like many others I certainly appreciate assistance given.

Some times when I write I try to get the syllables right rather than the poetic construct and sorry to leave out the I's but will improve in others I hope.

I like to try for true rhymes, but sometimes they are difficult so select ones that do not detract but have a similar meaning to what I wish to say, i.e. Language and Vanquish and I always try to have the correct authors 'user name' I do particular notice of that.

Have you thought about running a FanStory class on poetry construction and punctuation I am sure you would have many participants

Thanks for your kind reply, dear Christine, and for your idea of offering a class. I have not thought of doing that, mostly because I already to editing professionally off site, and prefer to work one-on-one with clients directly rather than a class format.

I found your slant rhymes super creative! True rhymes are good too, but a fresh and original slant rhyme makes a poem stand out, in my book.

I guess she is a humanitarian, eager to help someone in need, doing the work of the Lord. She has reviewed me as well. I feel if we are reviewers, tell them
what needs to be corrected before the work go to far.

I agree with all you say about this wonderful lady Rama is dedicated to helping us improve our grammar and spelling. I often make typos and she has helped me so much. I am so grateful to her. I think writing poems in praise of other poets is a great thing if meant well like this and I recently wrote one to Tier V. King. Hi Sandra, Thank you for your review and ai agree rama does give help to improve your work not asxa put down and ai admire her wisdom and effort to assist. I am never to old to take advice. Not sure if she has seen this but if not worth writing anyway. Haven't seen a Sandra poem for a while or have I missed them. Since we are appreciating correctness, An ode is a lyric poem marked by exaltation (!!!) in feeling and style, variation of line and complexity within the stanza and verse forms. Although the stanza pattern and rhyme scheme are determined by the poet,
There are three strict ode forms, one of which, the English is a combined form of
English and Italian sonnets, attributed to John Keats. I appreciate Rama Devi's
reviews as well.

Thanks for readin my 'ode' and yes I know it is technically not an ode of 10 lines etc, Bit I took poetic licence and went with poets choice of stanza pattern and rhyme so forgive my indulgence however my sentiments are one of praise for rama and ai hope that will suffice so to speak.
