This is a sincere and heartfelt piece speaking of the affection between two dear friends. It would have brought a smile to the faces of her family, and I am sure they would have appreciated the images your words brought to mind. I am sure Jane is having the time of her "life" in all the "Op" shops and recycle boutiques in Heaven.
There will be one in particular where the clothes are all exactly her size, colour and style, and every time she goes there it's $1.00 day. Sounds like Heaven to me. cheers Cass

I really liked this tribute to your friend.

I imagined it would be the sort of thing I'd say about my own girfriend, who, thank God, is still very much alive and kicking. But we live in different cities, often also in different countries. Below are my favourite lines:

Although we've lived in different towns, different countries as well,
I knew that if I was feeling down I could always give you a bell
and we'd be laughing in no time at all, chatting away about sod-all.
