This epigram, Shame, presents a brief, memorable poem that indicts the current President and explains that all he does is the opposite of what he should. You are right, of course.

An interesting agenda and we'll conveyed.

Brain and Shame don't rhyme, that is the reason for a reduced rating.

There is still plenty of time b2fore the deafline, I'll be happy to re-rate once correction is made.

Happy New year.

Thanks for the suggestion: Below is the change

We have president with a dangerous, narcissistic brain
He demands to block refugees, and build a border wall
His verbal divisiveness at times seems to be quite insane
We need our president to provide us with a unifying call

These are suggestions for the smoirher flow:

A wonderful, necessary, thought provoking and aptly titled
poem. Being an outsider over here in Europe, I never thought
that the great huge country called USA with her millions of smart
people and a plethora of intellectuals would let this man last more
than a few months in such an office.

But apparently the Republicans love the image of a megalomaniac who
pretends to protect by keeping others out, when what he is, is just another
immigrant and racist, albeit from a different era. How can Americans be fooled
with a tax reduction which will only help the president and his rich cronies on the gravy train to rake in more billions with impunity?

You nailed every point a concern citizen over here should have. But, unfortunately, party politics are more important than the welfare of the nation. Money talks over here. Thanks for the read and the review.

I enjoyed your poem, fellow scribe, and was thrilled to find someone who wrote something worthwhile here.

Trump did not follow the main stream to win the Presidency, but is noted for his individuality. In the end, History will judge him. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.

Thank you for the read and the review. Unfortunately, waiting for history is not an option if the progress made over the last eight years is to survive. Already, in roads are being made to regulations in finance, climate, medical care and citizens rights and surely we must include civil decorum. This man is shaming not only himself, but our country as well.

Trump thinks he is protecting the interests of the US and looking after its citizens and not letting his emotions enter into his decisions. I am an outsider looking in and the rest of the world like his actions in many ways, but time will tell. You have your vote to use next time and I hope you are more satisfied with the outcome of the next election. At least you are able to express your feelings freely unlike some other parts of the world where you would be imprisoned for these words. Your write is strong and you made a good point and I wish you all the best for 2018, love Dolly x

Yes, you are right, but as one can see from a majority of Americans and the world, he is wrong. However, I believe if Trump has his way and he could do it, he would take away that right as he has done with his so called vote fraud investigation. Witness also what he is trying to do to a free press calling every news report he does not agree with "fake news." The real "fake news" items are the words he tweets. Unfortunately, waiting for history to judge is not an option. Trump is constantly eroding the financial and social progress made over the Obama presidency. In one year, regulations governing in finance, climate, medical care and citizens rights and surely we must include civil decorum as demonstrated by his maniacal tweets. This man is shaming not only himself, but our country as well.
