I love this. Your title drew me in, as it is my guru's teaching that we should always maintain the attitude of a student, just like Christ advised we always be like children (open, receptive, in the moment)...
It sounds very sage-like, as if an enlightened being wrote it. I'm so glad I stumbled on it in Up Next.
And then I saw your note about 'Devi' and wondered...could it be me? If so, honored and humbled! Knowledge without wisdom is indeed like a rhyme without wits. well voiced! And I love how the dash carries the thought through to a conclusion:
Love the alliteration of K and W as well as the flow. Bravo!
The six is for the merit of this poem's meaning and delivery, both. Nothing to do with mentioning a 'Devi'!
Anyway, I reviewed this with blinders. Kindly let me know who you are in the reply!
