This is a complete nice short story about appreciation of the love of a beautiful, caring woman, the value of humanity is well flown in a character so realistic; I like. DR ALCREATOR

A very well-written short story. When we are patient and willing to wait. The right person who we will bel best suited for will come to us and we will immediately know we found what we're looking for.
Merry Christmas to you and your family

I confess I do enjoy going back in time to meet these aristocratic personages. The characters are all Victorian types we've met before in such romances: the aging aristocratic bachelor, the loyal valet, and the lovely recently widowed but very much pregnant lady. What makes this story appealing to me, however, is the DICTION & DETAILS used to put us there. The plot is predictable, but who cares. Delightful.

Though well written, I think that it was a little too pointed, and also that it seemed to rush the story to it's obvious end. Perhaps if there had been a little more build up it might have given the reader a little more anticipation, and that might have made it more enjoyable. The setting though, was well done and I could imagine these worthy gentlemen in their finery, in the lounge with their glasses of port. The makings of the story is definitely there, it perhaps just needs to be spread out a little?
