I am a huge fan of poetry on nature and I love the symbolic nature of this selection. As an aging woman, and in a society where beauty seems to be judged on what you look like on the outside, I love how your words remind me of what everlasting beauty is all about. Amazing job at taking simple words and being able to make feel and think about something! Regardless of changes, it is how we are grounded and how the beauty inside is what matters and does not change.

So glad you could share my vision! Wasn't just about falling leaves. If only people would appreciate the value of maturity. Wrote a monostich that actually won second place recently: "Sweet bird of youth has flown - leaving behind wisdom of old crone" Us old crones can teach them young 'uns a thing or two!
