Hi there, this is such a powerful poem. It left me in thought. I like when a poem tells a story within, and yours did. It also had great imagery and descriptive language. All the best. Ulla:))

Very emotional and intense!
And very descriptive! Although depressing it may paint an ugly wake up call that is very necessary for people to truly become righteously saved by an amazing and forever loving God!!! But one must choose!
Excellent imagery

These two groupings of stanzas tells us of man's pride and greed when it comes to the poor. It also questions why God lets people live like this and why we human allow others to live in squalor or terrorists create it 'in God's name". It tells us that we were meant to help those in need and not ignore them.

Keep writing

Happy Holidays

Wow! This is a very strong poem. I think you touched on all facets of pain and enduring and exposed the evil in them all. I have to agree that in the end, the guilt is on us all! Let's just hope that God is till listening to us and that in the end we well hear what he has to say.

What a fabulous poem, and I think most of it makes awful sense. It's coming, and it's not that far in the future. Your poem flowed beautifully, smooth and perfectly rhymed. I like poems like this that tell a story, fiction or not, there is always some truth in everything we write. So well done, and such a pleasure to read. Sandra xx

This sounds like the city of Birmingham on a Saturday night! Only joking! Your descriptions of a rotting earth are fearful and terrifying and I certainly hope this is not our fate but knowing the truth about our nuclear arsenal, then you could have painted a picture of the future here, love Dolly x

SIX STARS 6******WHAT THE "h," easy. This poem flows with determination and condemnation of how we treat the homeless. Stern warnings resonate to mankind about their deeds. Oh, I hope that end is not near yet, for the world. Let me ask you something, MASTER POET GENIUS! From what world do you hail? Are you from this world! WELL DONE! I AM STUNNED IN SHOCK at the Mastery of this perfect f'ing poem. lol liberty justice

You are certainly a master in the art of retention of metre. This fairly lengthy poem in two parts is written entirely in iambic pentameter. Its subject matter deals with the armageddon to come. In Part one we are on home soil in quatrains rhyming abab with plentiful alliteration and an excellent piece of imagery, "the homelessnight" introduces a section on homeless ness.

Pat two is set out in octets of rhyming couplets and takes us abroad to lands ravaged by the horrors of war. This is the armageddon to come..

I truly enjoy your poems. They are precise and clearly to the point leaving no room for conjecture. "If there's a higher moral certitude, It's found inside a mind's great aptitude.
Please take the guilt upon yourself my friend, We are the Armageddon in the end." I'm sure some may be offended by that statement but I find it to be quite true. Very well done.

In this poem you demonstrate your depth of insight into conditions of the day.
"Deception from inception in the womb....."
This is an appalling realization but a truth sinking below the radar of most humans.
"just buy a deck of cards and deal your fate....."
That's the structure the overseers made and we must pick a card. Great descriptive.
"We are the Armegeddon in the end....."
That' a profound philosophical statement with more truth than literary expression.
I write a lot in this area and I can identify with the majority of your work. Every once in a while I have to write something light so the top of my head doesn't blow off........just an FYI.
Another fantastic work.
