I like this entry in the contest a lot. The illustration is apt and the sentiment is both humorous and compassionate. It is also a timeless sentiment for anyone
who is still doing Christmas for a family for of, distant and grown up.

I think this is a cute entry for the Ode 5-7-5 writing prompt.
It has a good message and the picture is a good match.
