Don't search for the angels on earth for they will seek and be drawn to you Michael.
But time is short, so bare your soul through blessed hurricane and you shall be victorious in life everlasting...AND be in the company of angels.

Great theory huh? LOL

I LOVE your poetry.
AND your opinions. For they are like bottoms and everyone rightfully has one, good, bad or indifferent.

Sassy
xx

PS I ALWAYS have to read your stuff two or three times and often come up with a multitude of thoughts and meanings behind your gifted verse.
Fancy that!
Not many here that can hold my attention for THAT long haha
*dainty clap*

Thank you for sharing with us this beautiful song, "It Is Well," which is the perfect backdrop for the words of your own beautiful song of praise. I know you've suffered some devastating blows in your life, but like Job in the Bible, you continue to find your strength in God and to believe in His everlasting love. That's loyalty. He is faithful as well. We can count on that and I felt this poem was a testimony of your deepest belief in the goodness of God. As so often happens, I read your poetry with tear-blurred eyes, and find it emotionally evocative and intellectually stimulating. I have to read it more than once. There is so much tucked in between the words that can be easily missed the first time through... little gems of wisdom and wit that are most intriguing. I loved this one especially. ~ Meadow

Hello
When I read your last stanza
victorious is sand under the triumphant stand
and no leviathan larger than Life everlasting can
be loyalty won
it brought a question into my mind if the true essence of a pearl can turn love into grains of sand can they create a perfect pearl?

My last stanza suggests victory in Christ is found at the finish line of human race unlike I?ve heard some suggest it is from the moment He is known to be....you see even demons know He is and tremble in His presents ....it goes on to state that love is proven iby loyalty....and no other thing sets precidents above first Love....He who loved me first.only thing i know about pearls Gert is not to offer them to pigs....smile....I?m always michael

Essences of truth here, my brother...from Mother and innocence and the anguish and yearning depicted here, you once again bring emotions to the fore. Not to understand, is not to discount...and I always understand you, my friend, for we speak the same language, only in different tongues.
My best.
Bravo.

I've read Job a number of times...each showed me something new.
I saw his loyalty equaled love the last time. I think maybe its the bad things...disappointments, devastation not yet understood that prove us. loyal in Love or not. Yes...I know you've wrestled the Angel.. love you Brother. always Michael

I admired your dramatic presentation and your capturing the evocative contrasts of "cliffs and abyss" of "first love's intimacy". Your alliteration of "l's" in the final stanza adds to the intensity as well. Cheers and happy Sunday- Joan

I am afraid I am one of the old Rhyming poets, and I have some difficulty following more modern poetry. I apologise if that makes me the wrong type of critic for your poem. I wonder if this is a story of your own experiences. I feel that you definitely have a talent and urge you to keep writing and if you have to, ignore old fogies like me, who probably don't really know what they're talking about anyway!

    ha..well I suppose.apologies shadow some.
I'm an old "rhymer" too....I just do with an other than dot to dot memorization.
I never painted by numbers either it confines me...and I get crazy.
so instead I found my own natural rhythm thats suits me ...because I'm not you. I'm always Michael
