I have a variety of autoimmune diseases and believe that once you have one you are susceptible to others. I am sorry that your diagnosis was delayed with the latest disease and that you will have to spend a second Christmas with minced food. Warm regards- Joan

Oh no! I'm so sorry you're going through this. I got my mom's bad teeth. I went to her dentist for a long. He was amazing but sadly he retired. I told him I'd go to his garage and he could work out of there if he wanted to. He declined. I'm scared to go to someone new, ya know? I hope your dentures come soon and you can start enjoying food again. It can be rough

The hospital looks like an art structure. I don't know if you should trust that. I'd like you to visit the doctor not an anatomy artist. The medical industry is too busy. Everywhere. I pray for you (Ina and Robert) to be well. God bless you always.

First, I'm sorry to hear of your health problems, Ine. I hope there is some relief to come for those ghastly symptoms, and yes, I'd be pretty upset at those doctors who didn't diagnose the disease in time too.
Next, the correction for a tiny word misspelled (in a sentence that concerns me - think of nice things, my friend. Okay?) "I'd be (too) heavy..."
Minced food...*sigh*... how difficult, especially at Christmas. (Tell the baker you want plum pudding with that delicious sauce, but nothing chewy in it.) Wishing you all the best, my friend.

Of course I knew about your problems and I also knew you hoped they could treat you before Christmas. That's not going to happen I see. Waiting lists are long in hospitals, If you know the hospital is good,you don't go to another. You had enough trouble. Very well written this story. Fia

I looked up Graves' disease, it looks like it's a disease of the thyroid gland, I think my brother has problems with his, and also my son in law, but it's treatable, if left unchecked can by very harmful. There are 59 million Americans suffering from it Ine. So well done, I've prayed for you, get well, well dine, blessings Roy

treating it. It will take time to get under control, so don't loose faith or heart.
Dentures will take some adjustment too...patience mostly.
Yes, it seems your Dentist should have been able to diagnose your condition,
and I hope your case proves that and you win your case.
