Well done. Good form and a good addition to this contest. The poppy has a vivid draw speaking maybe of blood but also being familiarly linked with vetrans to many. Good work. Thank you for sharing your work.

I found your poem to be visual as, the blood red poppy. I agree our soilders from the past and present will be "entangled in wars foreboding shadow". Best of luck in your contest.

The poppies are like a time capsule of memories. I remember my Grandmother having them at her house. Those were much different than the poppies that they give today, yet for the same purpose the War Veterans to be remembered. Great ABC poem, Nice Job! Good Luck! Sherman541
