If there is one we should never forget to thank when we first awaken to a brand new day, our Lord, Jesus, is one of them and should never be left out.
With my bad heart and other health issues if I open my eyes, be it rain or shine, to yet another day, I am immensely thankful to Him for that and that alone. I could just as easily never wake up again.
