Congratulations on your win, Christine. The kitty cat is a pretty good poet and he did make the words rhyme--and won a prize. Short writes are always the hardest. Marilyn

I just read you thank you poem and had to come here to read the original. Nice. Congrats on the contest win. These short ones are usually harder to write than they look.

This 1-6-1 poem, Rhyming Time, has the appropriate structure and uses an apt photograph to punctuate the idea that rhyming can be both easy and difficult depending on what you we want to say and how we want it perceived. Nice.

I liked your 1-6-1 poem "Rhyming Time". I liked your choice of photo. (I wouldn't be without my rhyming dictionary. You covered all the rules for this genre.

Well, I'd comfortably say that your wish comes true this time. You have indeed written a 6 word poem that rhymes. That in itself can be a great achievement. Not easy to say something profound, that rhymes and makes sense to the reader. Great job and good luck in the contest. Gramalot8
