I would have put " you came alive "not come but that being said it is a beautiful poem about an extraordinary woman. Evokes images of a colorful passionate love story with interesting descriptions.

if you knew me Mummu...youd know I'm not all that concerned with what "you'd" have put in my poem. "they" put toxic waste in our water too...but I dont agree with that "them" "you"....this poem isnt even promoted do you think you know me... well enough to write my thoughts better than me...?

No offense intended, Just constructive criticism. My review is an honest opinion, not the gospel.

I like your very romantic take on the movement of dance through your stanzas.
I don't know why, I feel like there is a tango lurking somewhere in the background
although there isn't any tango music present in the presentation .

Wow what a visually stunning poem Michael. You have a knack for eluding to something but not really which tends to give your reader many vantage points, all of which are most favourable in this eloquent delivery. From the gobstopping opener and bookend closer (love this full circle effect) to the dance of love. This truly basked aglow.

Michael Magnifico!

Bravo.
A stunner.

Sixofrass xx

PS Anyone who can use a heavy word like "gobsmacked" and make it light as a feather and an absolute show stopper, is a true wordsmith.

You ARE unique and very talented. Don't never forget that *finger shake* LOL

"you...
come alive some time ago
gobsmacked in the middle of me"

Poetic excellence. Love the above. Strong opening line, and the fact that you closed with it, brought it home beautifully.
In your own way, nicely balanced, not as cryptic, which I think suits.
you make your mark, as romantic as lyrical.
Love your work, my brother.
6 stars for sure.
My best to you.
RG

Wow Michael, your lines come straight to my heart and to my years of dancing! I just love these lines "died to dance in love just once/tableau turned substantial rainbow." The words seem to melt in my mouth. Such a enchanting write!

I'm glad to see you are back on a regular schedule again. Thanks for including your signature circularity and transporting me with your references to "calypso" and the "walls of Jericho". Smiles and enjoy the Eve- Joan
