A very well-written hundred word flash fiction. Employees that come to work while they are I'll are often overlooked for their loyalty. It makes one wonder if it is worth the effort.

hahahahaha!

Oh, come one, Philip. I won't believe that for one minute. That a guy could blame his current daily problems on what the president is doing? Nah. That's just a cop-out. If you need to do it - just get in there and DO IT. *smile* Right?

So, get to work!

(and wipe that nose!) hahaha!

You are absolutely right, Robyn.First, when Patty called me out on this she added that this isn't a Flash Fiction. I knew she was right but the damage was done and I felt like crap. So, I thought to do more work later to this poor attempt at "I don't know what the heck I was thinking.", so I let it stay until I replace it. This was a desperate attempt to increase my Ranking. Besides, I would not blame Trump for my problems. As far as I'm the concern, It doesn't matter who the president is--l"m poor, not a businessman--my problem will remain the same. Everybody has to deal with the people's choice. I'm not crying. I screwed up. I hate this piece, Robyn. You rightly called me out and I appreciate that. hugely. I will put in my effort.

The mood is evident as is the topic.
But, I don't understand the how that relates to the 'far off center' fact.
Sorry, I'm just not getting it. I might have tried to tie it in a little more, flowing from one subject to the next.

I really think I missed the Flash Fiction's objective; however, I just might still use what's been started at a later time. Thanks for your honest opinion, Sharon.

Hi Phillip,

we all go through this trying times wondering whether or not to keep venturing forth or whether it's time to call it a day, for many different reasons.

The story is a little light here though.

I shouldn't have entered this one. I should have used it another way, but not in the contest. I really don't feel good about this one for any contest, giraffmang. But, I hope the next one is better.

pbomar1115,

This 100 Word Flash Fiction contest entry has the right amount of words and an unexpected ending with a possible double meaning. Humorous. :0 GracieAnn

Don't mind the CatastroTrump, my friend.
My only prayer (after I gave up praying that
someone there will kick him out of office before
six months are over) is that he doesn't win a second
term in office.

Wishing you well,
Aki

The best thing about people is they learn to adapt; so who knows? Trump could be re-elected. Although people champion one idea or view, yet do another.

Yes Donald certainly shocked the world with his win and made your hay fever pale into insignificance! The sentence: 'I'm not far off center when I remind you (of) one fact. You missed the word 'of' out of the sentence. A great read, have a great day, love Dolly x

I'm with you, man! I can't get motivated to do much of anything since the yam beat my beloved Hillary. And look what he's done to us. Nazis are marching in the streets, for God's sake!

Good luck getting back to your projects.

The project is a total lie, all made up. However, I think a plausible story can be created around the insurance issue. I thought you were going to tell me about that "setting" needed to be changed to "sitting." Also, the election tricked everyone. Nobody is truthful about very personal economic concerns. So, its back to the drawing board, emptypage.
