Your certainly have a knack for communicating a great deal in a very short form. I admired your using a powerful question to provoke thought in this two-line poem. Sweet dreams- Joan

Probably not.
Nice little rhyme. It's hard to know just what expectations deities place on us. I've heard it said God doesn't give anyone a burden they can't shoulder. I feel confident that's not true. Still, if we have ideals we can aspire to, isn't the effort itself noble?

KAHPOT,
Your poem made for an enjoyable read. Short and sweet. The flow was smooth. The theme well thought out. The words you chose worked nicely. Thoughts are expressed and described well.
There was nothing wrong that I could tell.
I look forward to seeing you again.
Love you,
Oatmeal

Probably a question that can never be answered though many claim to have. The path is of which no instructions can suffice for many has been created and still we look.
My best wishes.

No because we are awaiting
the pleasure of his explanation.
I really would have liked to end it there with your question suitably answered but th one hundred and fifty character minimum wouldn't have been reached.

Hi Kahpot - 'A question looking for an answer' - not an easy question. If God does exist then I am not sure what he expects of us. We all know right from wrong and it is up to us to do what we think is best. Thank you for posting - warm regards Dorothy

My question here is why is your diction awry? It reads rather awkwardly. Why not phrase it naturally? We are born as God's creation/Can we live up to His expectation? Be sure to cap "His."

Thank you very much, I am not sure I understand your question, diction is not natural in any language," His" is not a precise word of a particular****kahpot

Hi. Glad you got back. I am on a borrowed laptop. I mean typical English sentences have the subject first, then the verb. His refers to God. Pronouns referring to God generally take a cap.

Oh what a question, indeed. I am flabbergasted. You write volumes in thes two lines. Many savvy people has wondered with questions like this. I don't have an answer.

Heb 4:16
Let us have confidence, then, and approach God's throne, where there is grace. There we will receive mercy and find grace to help us just when we need it.
With Gods help we can meet his expectations because he loves us that much. Only through his mercy and grace could we ever do that.
Good question

We were created in the image of God, (genesis 26)..so there is goodness in us...and when the day comes, after the tribulation, armagedden, and resurrection to a perfect state, we will take upon ourselves that perfect image...not now, there is evil amongst us, and in that perfect state there will be none...your poem asked a question, that can be answered by saying yes.!..there will come a time when we can meet His expectations...but it has not yet come...
Thanks for sharing your thoughtful poem with us,...it made me think...though these are just my thoughts, I would never force others to believe as I do...
Blessings,
Victoria
