Sorry it took me so long to find where I left off. I plan to read all the way to the current post but hope you don't ind a cut and paste review. I liked this chapter. You are doing a great job covering Anderson's personal marriage problems and it seems that he will have no trouble getting custody of his daughter.

Emily wants Dad to play with her, so that's a good sign. I'm surprised the butler has so much involvement with the case. It seems odd that Anderson would be such close friends with his butler, an employee. But strange things do happen.

Thank you for the kind review. He's not really a butler and Jane isn't really a housekeeper, and Helen isn't really a cook, they are part of the family so to speak.

Hi Barbara. To me the sign of a good writer is one who can write chapters or parts of chapters that make perfect sense and give the reader a feeling of satisfaction with what they have just read. Yours most definitely does this. The other thing is for some strange reason I thought you were writing this in German. I know, I'm shaking my head as well wondering what in the world was I thinking! Anderson is a good father; he takes great measures, making sure Emily has a normal life even though Patricia is a party girl. Without Phillip to help him, I see Anderson under more stress than what he shows.
