Your author's notes make it sound complicated. But the end result is supremely excellent! I love the photo and the poem, with its twists and turns of rhymes, and depth of meaning. Every line is so well written and can't find a favorite among them. The mystique of learning about the world and oneself is so well put. I will bookcase this poem to remind myself of the many wonders of "Much thought is due." Thank you for the explanation of how to put one of these wonderful poems together. You have outdone yourself, my friend.
Take care, Jesse

Comment from Patricia Crandall
You have chosen a good theme for this Rondelet. It follows the rules and a young child's pondering is a fresh perspective. So much of life's pondering is from an Adult's perspective. Each day I learn of life's mystique. My favorite line and you have chosen an excellent picture to compliment the poem.

What a sweet photo to go with these words. The words describe her facial expression so well. Deep in thought. Great little poem.

If we would all contemplate our words before we speak as thoroughly as this child does, we would be less offensive, Th Bible says, even a fool is taken as a wise man if he holds his peace.

A very good Rondelet, as I understand them. It's nice to see philosophy expressed in interesting and subtle ways. The choice of repeated line was very solid. Good luck in the contest.

This is a lovely, well written Rondelet with a charming and perfect picture of your little granddaughter. Repeated lines all correctly placed and do not sound contrived to suit the form. Lovely wording. Good luck in the contest. Regards Dorothy

Hi Tony
I really enjoyed your Rondelet entry. And the accompanying picture is perfect.
The repetition, "Much thought is due", is perfect. Life can be mystical, if we seize the day. I like this form of poetry, and yours comes with a message. Good Luck in the contest!
cheers

Ah, if only we could get everyone to think before they speak
how much better, calmer and more peaceful the world would be.
The learning of language is a fascinating thing to watch,
of course, you may want to enjoy the peace while its lasts, too.
Sometimes, we say more with less.
It's the repeating line that is the heartbeat of a Rondelet
and "much thought is due" is a splendid one
Accompanied by a magical photograph
Great addition to the book of Teagan
Best wishes

This poem and the accompanying photo touched me deeply-my grand-daughter is 16 months old and watching her explore the world is one of lifes greatest joys-I,suspect I will think of the words, much thought is due, quit often now. In such a succinct poem so much is said! Best wishes to you!
