This is a lovely poem! You have painted with words a picture to match your beautiful artwork. The Fox and the Moon would be a great children's poem to inspire an interest in nature. Enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing.

This poem is charming. The imagery is imaginative and clear. I like the creativeness of rhyming "take in" with "grin", however I think there are some rhythmic issues. For example in stanzas 1,3,&4 the opening line has 8 syllables while 2&5 have only 7. Also the last stanza doesn't rhyme.
The rhythm is pretty easy to fix by dropping or adding the or and in most spots. That last line though is tougher.perhaps;
So moon and fox the dark embrace
Friends now with a smile on each face
Just a suggestion. I really love the story though.

Nice personification in these rhyming couplets. This fox seems to wonder the same things as we humans do about the moon. We also look at something beautiful and peaceful to stare ate.

I relished the drawing of the fox to reinforce your description of the creature in the moonlight. Your rhymed couplets were very effective and captured the scene. The personification of the moon added to its intensity. Cheers- Joan

I love your couplets, and the rhymes are unpredictable, unforced.
I also write a poem about the moon. If your time permits and if interested, the poem is title "Lunar Thoughts."
