A very informative poem from a zoological point of view. I learnt quite a few new facts about the sea-dragon or sea-horse. We have leafy sea dragons in this part of the world - masters of disguise! I like the way you end your poem. I can imagine it going down well in the classroom.

A very well-written free verse poem about the dragon of the ocean. Not many saw these little creatures in real life situation except in an aquatium. They are intriguing little sea creatures indeed.

I used o scuba div and often came across horsefish. They come in many colors and are some of the most amazing of all of God's creations. I never disturbed them, but left them for others to enjoy.

how delightful.
The seahorse is beautifully described. I love "a dragon of benevolence." Also love the subtle and lovely way you include the fact that it is he - the male - that has the babies, and also fulfills his duty as teacher.
