I enjoyed reading your poem "Plea". You had all your lines correct for this genre and I liked your message for peace.
All the best.

Hi Debra. This is a plea that everyone has on their lips and in their hearts--for peace to reign on earth everywhere. It all starts with each of us to lead by example. Much luck in the contest with this fine Lanturne entry. Marilyn

Well, well, Mrs. White. You have returned and right into a contest;. good for you. and I feel this poem for more than the words, knowing you are in England and Tamara as well. She phones me everytime something happens over there so I'm not worrying. I hope you do not live near all of this havoc? I still don't get what the hell they (terrorists) think they are getting out of all of their actions. Just pure destruction for nothing.
glad you are here and voicing.
lulube good luck in the contest

Hi lulube, thank you so much for your great feedback and good luck wishes, I appreciate both. Yep, it's a crazy and scary world we live in. We live about an hour or so away from where the Manchester arena attack happened a couple of months ago. I know people who were at the concert that night. It's too close to home and every time I switch on the news, I'm waiting to hear there's been another attack.
Good to hear Tamara is well, hope you are too.
Best wishes, Debra x

My favorite themes...love and peace. The artwork enhances the message implying an avenue to burning bright love and feeling peace is to help those who are suffering. Plea is a perfect title. Brilliant combination of words and image. Good luck in the contest. Tasteful and impacting presentation.
Love,

Debra,
This is a great contest entry. The colors work well with your image & well chosen words. Good job on the syllable count per line as required of the lanturne style. Your few words carry a lot of weight.
Best wishes in the contest.

The most beautiful prayers are ones such as this: pithy, succinct. Pleas that come from the heart always speak to the Heart. Very well penned.

A very well-written Lanturne poem. We can only plea for people to open their hearts with love to spread through the world to make it a better place and bring forth peace.

Such a simple request, but conveyed eloquently in but nine words.
Good focus on how love works: it "burns" and "radiates."
I like how you personify LOVE, making him the listener here who hopefully will honor your request.

The world does indeed need the peace you talk about in your poem. And what best way to achieve it than through love?
Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest.
