This is a nice nonet poem. I think most students after a long summer are eager to get back to a routine with their friends. Looking back at school days, they are usually remembered fondly by all. Marilyn

This is a very well written Nonet poem you have penned for the contest. You used very good descriptive wording and great imagery. I loved that time in my life when I was in elementary school! Best wishes in the contest. Teri

Love this nonet!! School started here (Virginia) last week. Seems way too soon to me, the teachers and the kids need more of a break. I love the descriptions here!! Great entry, blessings...

This speaks about schooldays begin when teachers and students wait for new class, books and notes to learn-teach, under new session in September; I liked.

Looks like a nonet indeed, and counts out, in my dialect. Most kids have it great in school, new knowledge to absorb and not too many bullies to deal with. Excellent.

Reminds me of my days in school always racing to get to the next class. Most the time I was late. Very well written nonet poem. Thank you for sharing and good luck on the contest

A nit: 'School days' is two words.

You gave us great imagery with the descriptive language of school and all of it accoutrements.

Wonderful way to fulfill the requirements of the form and create the image of that special time of year for youngsters...well, at least up to a certain age. Love the picture as well. I went to Louisa May Alcott elementary and this building reminds me of that one. Thanks!
