He does look like he has no feet. I've often wondered what they think of us poor creatures on the ground, staring up at them. I think if I were a bird I'd feel sorry for us.

Dreamers are birds without feet? If that's the case,
I'd reconcile the difference between plural (Dreamers)
and singular (bird).
Can a bird without feet ever come down to Earth?
Is that what the child is observing?
Dreams, like a footless bird, cannot come down to Earth?
