Ameen, this is a very interesting Cinquain poem. Your syllables are all in check and I love the picture you have used to enhance this well written piece. The last line in particular adds great imagery to the piece (unfortunately I actually have chapped lips at the moment). Tear drops and misery, an all too common scene of today's environment.
Great read and thank you for sharing. ~DD

I always admire your Cinquains. This one involves a compelling social commentary. I admired your use of alliteration and analogy. The artwork you selected reinforces your theme dramatically as well. Sighs- Joan

The Cinquain is an effective poetic format here and it enhances the moment when that telling teardrop falls as a result of some 'tale of misery - an appropriate visual

Better get yourself some Chapstick and water. I think that could transpire anywhere, especially during the summer months. Good visual imagery. Well thought out. Nice work.

Excellent imagery, tone and tenor. Expressive and dramatic. Well presented too. Love the assonant resonance of imbued and dewdrops. Fine consonance of P, L, C-K, R and alliteration of T. Sounds good read aloud. A couple of minor suggestions:
Teardrops
akin to pearls-(:)
R(r)ainbow(-)imbued dewdrops(,)
T(t)elling tale of misery with
cracked lips
The dash is fine but I think a colon works better.
With above suggestions:
Teardrops
akin to pearls:
rainbow-imbued dewdrops,
telling tale of misery with
cracked lips
Namaste, dear. Beautiful, poignant post. The title is perfect. Captures the tone.
Love,

This speaks about Ethiopia and her poor state of survival despite the country is rich in pearls, Nature, mineral and natural resources; I liked.
