Very well done! It is hard to make dialogue natural and to make it flow ... you have done both. It is very good writing. Looking forward to reading more.
I would not worry about "politically incorrect" issues. You will never market to everybody and there are plenty of folks out there who don't give a darn about being politically correct ... which is refreshing!

This is another fun chapter. I understand the need to document the continuing relationship between Shana and Emily. I don't see how this can be viewed as politically incorrect. Please explain this to me. I find that a bit absurd.

What I read was good and made me smile especially the part of the "make believe" play of pirates. Reminds me of me and my kids when we used to play "make believe". I can't wait to read more. Thanks for sharing

I enjoyed this part, I think Shana and Emily are getting along very well, and I can guess why you are leading us in that direction.
