This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.

I enjoyed the film. Where could I get the link? I'd like to post it on my FB page because I love the way it portrays tradition, with everything allotted their place and time. To me that's order.

She used to(the, her) fingers to count the greats.

How I became interested is through their son (? something missing here) was Elijah.

"This is worse than The Book of Matthew and all the begotten." Jeff grinned. ~ I grinned as well, with the same thoughts, hahaha...

"Basically anybody the Nazis didn't like or understand," added Philip. "It probably included Jehovah's Witness, Roman Catholics,(I don't think Roman Catholics got into the list of "unwanteds") or anybody who exhibited any socially deviant behavior."

"Correct." Shana continued, "The inmates worked twelve hour days at hard physical work, wore rags, never had enough to eat, and the risk of corporal punishment was imminent. Those who couldn't keep up were murdered. There was a name given to these people, Muselmanner, or living dead because of their appearance. They resembled round-shouldered skeletons." Tears rolled down her cheeks. "I'm sorry. I can't go on." She left the room.

Thanks so much for this one - I enjoyed it more than all I've read of the story so far.

Roman Catholics were also targeted by Nazis. Thank you for the kind review and I made the corrections.

Very well written, and it holds the reader's attention. Only a few small writing errors, easy to fix.

"She used to fingers to count the greats..." (Typo - two fingers, not to fingers.)
"How I became interested is through their son was Elijah..." (Syntax is disordered. Either drop the word "was," or replace "is" with it; "How I became interested was through their son Elijah.")

"We were able to visit the Jewish Museum in Munich. It had just opened a few months before." (Just a tad ambiguous. It opened just a few months before what? I presume before you arrived there, but that should be mentioned.)

Other than these small things, the rest is quite good.

This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.

This story line is very interesting. I hate that all that happened during WW11. I just can't imagine the terror that a lot of people went through during that time. Thank you for sharing this chapter. hugs

I like how you are continuing your story by going in the history of Shana's family in Germany, which I found is really intriguing to read
All I say is this chapter must be read.
