I will be without my spouse 22 years soon and I would like to love agai, but have gotten so used to living alone. Also, I am afraid to love again for fear I hold a new mate to a standard the is measured by the wonderful man who I lost. That just may not be fair. Patricia

It would be a very difficult choice to make for sure, to love again after losing the love of their lives. A thought provoking poem for sure friend and a dilemma I think we all would hope not to have to face. They do say that love conquers all though : )
