Good morning, Persevere: it is great to get to this point in a new marriage. Some are not that blessed right from the beginning but in time the appreciation for the finer things and special times spent together becoming one. It's funny that you mentioned the snoring accepted. Recently my husband allowed me to hear a tape recording of my snoring. I could not believe my ears. We laughed so hard as we listened because he could never get me to believe that I snore, now that's true love. (lol) Great piece!

"Old hands united" sounds as though this is a case of second time round. I guess that a few strategies have been learnt to ameliorate the problem! Love conquers all! Who needs sleep anyway?

I am glad that my senryu has sent the message that this is indeed the second time around for me and , incidentally, third time for my new husband. We don't have to waste time on getting to know each other; as friends we have already done that. Thank you for taking time to review my senryu.
