I never thought about the life of a mouse until I read your poem. It is quite a challenge for mice to find food. Thank you for provoking my thoughts.

Something tells me that you must have had a recent encounter with el-raton. A most disgusting encounter I am sure. I detest them and see no reason for their existence except to feed cats, owls and snakes.
