This is such a lovely, sweet poem, dear Michael, and congratulations in placing third.

You are a romantic guy, and it shows. I thoroughly enjoyed your elegantly flowing lines, a marvelous presentation and what this poem stands for.

A pleasure to read and review.

Lovely, intriguing poem! My Grandmother's name was Beulah, so that line was special to me. I loved "intoxicating quill"--very good imagery. Thanks for posting!

"Whispering secret things made special". "She speaks in love poems". "Whispering secret things made satisfied". My favorite three lines of the poem. Those were powerful to me. The poem as a whole is fantastic, but those three lines stood out the most.

Congratulations on placing in the POM contest, a well-deserved honor.
I am happy to see someone honor MissMerri as you do here with such lovely lines. My favorite stanza here is the first one, but it is all so very clever and such a very fitting description of such a lovely lady and her beautiful poetry.

What a beautiful tribute to Adonna (MissMerri). I love that you cover her poems of faith using "the language that David owned. " Pleasant meter accented with near rhymes and pleasant assonance.

Very smooth and easy read. The whole tone, depth, and description of the work to me could only be defined as peaceful tranquility. Good job and keep it up!

I want to give this a 4 star because it follows the #1 thing I was taught about poetry: poetry has no rules. But I just couldnt get passed the grammatical errors and abstract vocabulary. Points for creativity and this is just my humble opinion so no hard feelings.

-smile-...hey Paiky...I read your mother nature poem by the way who in the world could this be...and I got a say any man who penned "a tree is a child of 2, loving peoples story"...certainly knows what hes talking about. noted...your humble opinion...-wink-

I don't understand your reply...it seems bitter sweet. Not to be rude, but could you be more blunt/direct with what you mean to say? It's all I am able to comprehend without a visual or any sound. Sorry

    sure...I'm here to help...
what we have here is failure to communicate...or more accurately translate emotional experience into common ground we all walk on...you see some men just cant get their mind ah wrapped around it...and ah its truly a pity. but hey I'm a big fan a Annie...follow me...-smile-

Is there something wrong with you maybe? You seem very random and maybe even unstable...sorry, but I have no idea who or what you are talking about. Thanks anyway, have a good one.

I saw your name in the PoM and had to come and read it. I haven't been on here much lately. Miss Merri must be thrilled to bit with this beautiful poem, Michael, only you can write about a person with that special ingredient you have that makes your words angelic. This tribute is superb, my dear friend, and she is most deserving of it too. There is a subtle rhyme in this one, and many of your lines are just so beautiful they brought a tear to my eyes. You have my vote, and I hope you win. Much love, my dear Michael. Sandy xxx

I'm still trying to catch up... I enjoyed your animation to help set the mood and your dedication to a friend. Thank you for allowing us to stroll "in the gardens" and hear the divine music. I was intoxicated by the "quill" that could "listen twice"! Smiles- Joan
