Well, I fell behind again and then FanStory didn't help by being off-line all day. Fortunately, I caught your post and art selections. I admired your love song and once again found the circularity effective. Sweet dreams- Joan

Love, poetry and song, hold well together, my brother. As words delve into the mind, out pours the emotion of which we would seek to express, and so we do this individually. When you formulate, your style is your own which I have come to both appreciate and warm to.
I can live the emotions.

Once again you deliver.
Stunning artwork, stunning delivery.
Bravo, Michael.
Best wishes.

There are so many things that make this poem beautiful, Michael. I love the liberal distribution of assonance throughout, and the light sprinkling of rhyme, alliteration and other poetic devices also adds a delicate touch, but in the end, it is the emotional impact your words have that make your poetry something to return to over and over. I love the story, thinly veiled, of a loved one so cherished and adored, a "treasured beauty known by far and wide, worth more than earth owns... " and the "resplendent heart warmth consistent in might, outshines the brightest star's birth." What an honor it would be to be described like this! Someone you hold dear is very fortunate indeed! But I gather from the first and last stanzas, this is not a one-way love. It is clear the love is reciprocated, and that makes me happy. Thank you for taking time to share some of your shining works with us. I loved this beautiful poem and all that it implied, but mostly I love the emotional stir it brings my heart.

Interestingly, I've been told since very young, my head was in the clouds. Wish I knew how to make it up to the heaven level. I think I might like to converse with angels also. ;p

I wish you could find the time to write more often. I enjoy your poetry so much. MM

Dear Michael, this is truly a step up in the poetry realm of your work. It has such keen imagery, for me its also easy to dive into, to understand its fluid lines, its emotions as the capture me line by line.
I thought you did an exceptional job on this one, my friend.
Really well done throughout. One of your best.
Thanks for sharing.
Hugs

Like classic art and painting and classic epic and literature, as truth and beauty ever sung dimensionally or metaphorically, here the poet tells something about life and beauty is ever sung by the masters long, songs still hum before us, we are to appreciate and use; I liked and enjoyed the read, philosophical appreciation of living.
