This poem is full of genius. I love how you related the renewal of the spring and all of the splendor of it, its color, its growth occurring, the marvelous that it all is - you so eloquently related it all to that resurrection, that coming to life again, the rebirth of a will that always will, yes, genius.
Life celebrates,
Born again
Out of winter and death,
Reaching upwards
Clear with the clarity
Within the light
Lighting the darkness
And the reborn landscape,
A rainbow
Silk thread
Pulled tight
Overhead,

Up from the depths
Life breaks the dark
And ground
Into air and light
Compelling opening. Love it. Good descriptive metaphor.
All of the colors
Of all the blossoms of spring
Exclaim these resurrections,
This resilience
Very nice voicing plus alliteration of R.
In the brilliance of light,
In the brilliance of skies,
In the brilliance of air,
Determined, beautiful, alive
Good flow and rhythmic repetition.
Life celebrates,
Born again
Out of winter and death,
Reaching upwards
Lovely tone and imagery and personification.
Clear with the clarity
Within the light
Lighting the darkness
And the reborn landscape,
LOVE reborn landscape. Fine voicing. Fine alliteration too.
A rainbow
Silk thread
Pulled tight
Overhead,
Nice random rhyme and good imagery.
Turned inside
Out, a butterfly fluttering
Over the flowers
Growing out of the graves
Of the dead
Superb phonetics with F and sounds. Good metaphorical imagery, tone and meaning. A fine AHA effect.
My only technical suggestion is to not cap every single line but rather only the starts of sentences so the enjambment is smoother. Optional, of course.
Bravo. Great post.
Warmly, rd

What a glorious interpretation of the Easter story. I especially liked the ending...the butterfly fluttering over the flowers, which grew out of the graves, of the dead. Now...THAT'S rebirth!!! and beauty, transformation, worship and promise. Just wonderful! Happy Easter to you!!

Thank you for sharing this poem of hope and God's love. You did a wonderful job of describing how His resurrection is reflected in nature. Its a great thought to bring to the holiday season,
~patty~
(the season isn't really about bunnies, but it does signify the joy.)
