Please explain the word, gore in the first line of the third stanza and how it fits into a doubting Thomas scheme. One also questions the premise that the author will receive more of what he desires by actions taken in the poem. Conversion must be a personal choice. Other than these few irregularities, the poem is lyrical and phrasing appealing. I encourage your frequent writing as people seem to respond/read in large numbers....

ageless in flesh dies and is born...forever beautiful in its gore. would be the human experience...of course. and how it fits into doubt...faith and even triumph...is obvious to every single one eventually. irregularities are the only things one can count on for sure...comes a time when one comes to except that as season....O yes the crowds are great, pure traffic. aint no sunshine when I'm gone...love Michael

Well thank you for clearing that up..I think...
I suppose if only you understand..then it does not have a correlate in thought in
some readers such as myself..maybe a personal view gets in the way...We all have different experiences.
As for sunshine, I really wish spring would arrive...

The comes a time when All Is Lost in all is out of hang in there comes a time when those we love are gone away never again to come back never another day here comes a time when you have lost everything from your career your family to yourself but as Thomas has the faith and we see the light about we realize the one thing that we can never lose is our love nice work Michael Ricky 1024

Good to see you again on this Sunday morning! I admired your reference to doubting "Thomas" in this spiritual poem. Your "life eternal's next of kin" is quite memorable. Cheers and have a satisfying new week- Joan

Your poem tells the story of the doubting Thomas in a lyrical way. He needed to have it proven to Him that Christ was truly there. (He must have been from Missouri - the show me state.) Thank you for sharing,

do you want to know what He spent so much time teaching, His conceived for purpose the invincible power in sacrifice...all trust, admire, respect, count on reliable every time, once proven for you, loved above all else, like run to when hurt...it saves. thank you Patty....love Michael

In tune with the song, strong spiritual energy depicts behavioral patterns, coinciding in the way we flourish. A little abstract in terms of one path, but this style is to be recognised in delivering, soundly , what is meant.

Best wishes....a style of its own

I love poetry that speaks to my heart and soul. Your spiritual poem does speak to me...I LOVE IT! It reminds me that I want to start writing spiritual poetry, love letters to God because he has always been there for me. Poetry was his gift to me in my darkest times and I begged for poetry, that ability to write again, to pour my pain onto the pages where tears fell.

Hi...me too...-smile-...I first felt poetry from the Psalms of David. for thats what is...to me...I have to feel it for it to be poetry. a highly respected Poet here has a story poem out right now where she tells of entering a poetry contest...anyway, I remembered I had also years ago and sent her picture of the poem. It was one of my first...written before I was born here. find what moves you...the writers who do...study what they did that did...and register it...go to portfolios and study what, when , how...you felt the electric pulse...this is not copying when you apply what youve learned to your own voice...and here is key...describe what youve learned and wish to say in metaphorical music. love Michael

I found this poem deep and powerful and beautiful on more than one level. First the music of the words and how they ring together in ethereal harmony, with the liberal splashes of alliteration as well as the multiple rhymes cascading from verse to verse down the page... beautiful word art... But on another level, this poem has a deep and hauntingly beautiful spiritual component that manages to pull the heartstrings as the reader senses the struggles with doubt to which we all succumb from time to time and the human uncertainty that cries out for proof of the promise given. Reading your poetry is a moving experience that calls the heart to return again and again, to search and appreciate the layers of meaning and unselfconscious artistry. It is akin to visiting the Grand Canyon... always something new and unexpected to be observed and enjoyed. Thank you for sharing your heart. I thoroughly enjoyed this poem... and the music and picture you put with it. MM

every man has a symphony inside himself...some find a way to draw it out in musical emotion...poetry is the orchestrated life created, once alive never dying...like real love. smile...i know you know this, you are one i learned it from. always grateful Michael

SIX STARS to you. This poem is very dramatic and serious. Seems a plea for help or faith with a highly spiritual nature pleading with Thomas to touch this. Now this poem could have a double meaning in what she's asking to be touched. liberty justice.
