Failure to follow forecasts result in soggy picnic lunches, disappointed picnickers, dashed hopes of having fun and a postponement of festivities for a future time.

This poem describes the crazy weather we are having here in the Pacific Northwest. Late March should see us sneaking in some spring activities, but the rain will NOT stop falling. Your words create great images,

Wow, Bill, how did you managed to incorporate alliteration in each line given the challenges of the tanka poetic form? I am impressed.

Also, this well-written poem comes bearing great imagery. Those poor picnickers caught in the cloud cascades. Also, I love the personification in the opening line.
