This was a fun play on the phrase, "a wolf in sheep's clothing". The sheep and the ram certainly had fun and fooled the dogs. Best wishes in the contest.

Hi there,

A good entry for the competition. I was wondering where you were taking it and the last line is really good.

Boy, you fellas sure worked up a thirst. I just filled that. Come on in for a spell and I'll git ya - watch for when you are using dialectal tics and spelling that they remain consistent you/ya.

"The smaller dog barked, "We don't know - delete the speech marks at the beginning here.

"We'll, see about that." - don't need the comma after we'll.

"I owe them a favor," the wolf, growled. - comma after wolf is unnecessary.

All the best

This is a clever story for the disguised contest prompt. Sheep are the kind of animal one can envision as being much more clever than meets the eye. Thank you for sharing,
A few nits: The dogs ahead shivered, and begin running. (Tense - is it began or do you want to change the tense of the sentence?)
barking and biingt (biting)

This almost read like a fable and I am sure it would appeal to a wide audience, including children. We like to see the sheep outwit the dogs and earn proper treatment. Great closer.

I like the reversal of the old saying "wolf in sheep's clothing". To "sheep in wolf's clothing". The sheep were certainly smarter than the dogs, who treated the sheep with respect after that. Great entry in this "disguised" writing contest, the poor old doggies copping a little "role reversal" well done, great entry, plot and characters, good luck, blessings, Roy
Typo: Barking and (biingt) biting?
