Mustang P,
Thoughts are expressed and described well. Very nicely written work. Perfectly arranged and formatted. Good flow. Well chosen words, colorful arrangement and wonderfully decorated thoughts. Telling things very plain and comprehensible.
Understandable.
There was no SPAG. No typos. No homophones. No problems at all.
You wrote this one very well.
I look forward to seeing you again.
Love you,
Oatmeal

Very nice. Every spouse should do the same for the other and we would have less arguments and divorce. You made my eyes tear up a bit, true love always does that to me. Thank you for sharing.

HI,
I loved your poem you wrote about you husband. It is wonderful to still have those emotions after years of marriage.
Regards to the photo taken when you both were younger, we still are the same people in our loved ones eyes.
Well done
Mary

This was a really sweet poem. It is full of the simple things that display love and respect.
It is so wonderful to bask in the warmth of anothers arms before heading forth to greet the day. The dog barking a welcome makes for a beautiful scene

Hello Mustangpatty1029, a fun love poem. Of special note:
The dogs bark a welcome,
I give him a hug
and:
In his arms for the night,
My heart takes flight
(Emotions of love; actions speak louder than words - very nice.)
Thanks for sharing your photo and author's notes.
Keep the blue waters flowing and the love embers glowing.

The dogs bark a welcome,
I give him a hug
I've been lonesome,
But for now, I'm snug
In his arms for the night,
My heart takes flight
this is just how it should be - we are so blessed to have found true love in our lifetime, Patty -- my husband's beard is more grey than black now, and his hair is silvery - but his eyes are still a deep chocolate colour - something I noticed first about him so many years ago.
I loved your sentimental poem.

Wonderful presentation! Even though the photo's old, it still says a lot, and adds much to the poem. You write very well, using a descriptive style of a typical morning and day for you. I like your choice of words and the ease of flow, within the poem. I enjoyed reading this very much. You sound like a lucky and happy person. I am glad for you.
Take care, Jesse

Ahhh, this is so sweet. It is simply put but that is often the best way to say 'I love you' to someone:)
Twelve hours away a day is a long time. Great tribute poem:)

Thank you for stopping by to read and review. My hubby only works a ten hour day - (Only), but with the commute, he is gone for twelve hours. We are lucky to have our evenings and weekends together.

You have crafted a lovely poem about you and your hubby. It shows a huge amount of love that you feel for him. And, how nice, the picture of you two a few years ago. It gives me heart to read such a great poem of a warm and comfortable love. Well done.
