Wow. This is incredible. Just how incredible, you have no idea, my friend, but I will mot definitely give this form my attention after reading this stunning poem. Scary, powerful and most compelling - those first two lines drew me in completely!

When I read the "milk and honey" line I had a feeling this would turn. That and the lovely tone of the poem - almost too sweet. Great job - as I read I looked forward to the next line. A wonderfully crafted poem

A macabre act of revenge! It seems that the old saying "Hell hath no fury like a woman spurred" applies here!
I found your background notes on the form interesting.

This is a very interesting and good poem you have penned. I did not know there was a crowned cinquain. You used very good descriptive wording and very good imagery. Blessings, Teri

Hi Jeni, true love to me...is when you don't have a reason to walk away...it's so sad that some in a relationships today have to cheat...today the words I love you have lost what they truly mean...sigh...very well written...and I bet the building in this picture could tell some true stories...love Linda xxoo

A very well-written crown of Cinquains. Not all love relationships work out well as it was planned.

Visions
of buttercups
fill your mind ~ so lovely.
Take your bath of milk and honey.
Sweet as sugar cane. (I might be wrong but I don't think this line should be here. The rest of the poem works perfectly)
How nice.

I loved your poem, an interesting and ironic journey, very colorful images, good flow and strong words. Any reader can not help but identify with, and recall similar circunstances. Ende on a very thoughtful and interesting not, I had to read 3 times to digest, and the cliches of the last few lines are ringing in my head.
I also found the information on cinquains that you provided to be fascinating and a joy to lean about. I liked the butterfly; I a going to book-case this so that I too can experiment. What the heck, by now you know that i have aan addictive personality, and there are some slots open now that I'm in recovery!
Blessings,
Brother Badger~

Well Jeni, Love is not sad LOL, but reading your free verse love is sad when it is of this kind - deceit, jealousy and murder. No plesure in that kind of love. No trust! LOL. Well written free verse - Warm regards Dorothy x
